James S. Holbrook is an established Birmingham, Alabama business leader who has guided multiple financial industry ventures since the early 1970s. Having served on the National Association of Securities Dealers’ board of governors, James S. Having guided First Birmingham Securities Corp as CEO for 20 years, Mr. Holbrook developed a two-office Alabama investment and brokerage firm into a globally networked group with offices across 43 states, as well as in London, England. His firm earned tens of millions of dollars on an annual basis.

A graduate of Ramsey High School in Birmingham, Mr. Holbrook attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and majored in finance and banking. To this day, he maintains a close connection with his alma mater as a member of the President’s Cabinet. An avid golfer and tennis player, James S. Holbrook maintains membership in a number of country clubs in Alabama and Florida. He gives back to his community through volunteering with his local Rotary Club chapter.
